Microsoft’s soon to be release Nokia 215 is the cheapest smartphone you don’t want to miss
Since Microsoft closed its purchase and acquire Nokia back in April 2014, The once popular giant phone vendor had been silence and did not release any smartphone to compete with the market contender such as Apple.inc’s iPhone, Samsung’s Galaxy line and China’s Xiaomi.
To start the year 2015 with a surprise, Microsoft announced their soon to be release new smartphone from their Nokia phone product line, It is Nokia 215, a $29 Series 30+ phone that Microsoft says is its most affordable smartphone to date. Unlike other handsets in the company’s low-end range, the Nokia 215 can run apps like Facebook, Messenger, Twitter, Bing Search, MSN Weather and Opera Mini, giving first-time smartphone owners the chance to browse and share while on the move.
With its 2G network support only, their primary target is for middle end consumers, with 35% Nokia phone users in market still using their low end Nokia phone which lack of apps ability. This new release will encourage users to upgrade their Nokia mobile phone without spending too much.
The Nokia 215 features a 2.4-inch QVGA 320 x 240 pixel display, 0.3-megapixel camera, built-in torch, MP3 and FM radio support and can be paired with a Bluetooth handset or speaker. Its also promise with 29 days of standby battery power. The phone might top one of the best and cheap smartphone for next year listing on popular gadgets.
